Leah grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Furman University with degrees in Political Science and German. After graduating from Emory School of Law in 1991, Leah obtained her real estate license in the state of Georgia and concentrated on the management of commercial properties as well as the development and sale of equestrian properties. In 2008, she changed her focus to coaching, initially coaching equestrians in fitness and nutrition, then expanding her skill-set to include certifications in life and sports performance coaching. She ultimately added international Olympic swimmers to her elite client list.
In 2017, Leah and her husband, Mark, came to Arizona for their wedding anniversary. The trip resulted in a permanent move to a 5 acre horse farm in the foothills of Rio Verde in North Scottsdale.
